Does your organization work under extended contracts or on consultation?

At Mannes & Associates, we work under contract with organizations for recurring assignments or can work on a job to job basis. Please contact us to see which service fits best within your needs.

Do I need to use a consultant in my area, or can I book one based on their area of expertise?

In finding the consulting solution that best meets your needs, we are not bound by the organizational teams listed within this site, but custom build a team based upon your needs, or pair you with an individual consultant if the solution requires. Please tell us what your needs are and we'll be happy to discuss ways to give you the information you need.

Do your consultants do on-air/on-screen appearances?

Some of our consultants have been on news and entertainment specials (to include two who have had news specials based on them) and can be guest news commentators and do on-screen appearances. It is important to request these services in advance as many of our consultants are still actively employed with law enforcement agencies and are restricted from media appearances without agency approval.

Does your firm provide operational security, investigative, or surveillance functions?

Mannes & Associates is a consulting firm and does consult on security needs, but is NOT a security firm and is not licensed to provide these services. Some of our consultants in each regional team provide these services as well as know many reputable firms providing these services, outside the Mannes & Associates structure. If you need a referral, please contact us specifically as to what your needs are and we will gladly provide you with the name and number of someone who will fit your needs.

Do you work on "spec scripts"?

Mannes and Associates' founder A. Benjamin Mannes got his start in entertainment industry consulting by working with writers on spec scripts; some of which were sold, as well as some that didn't. Regardless of your level of experience, our services are available to you at reasonable rates. After all, it shouldn't just be big name writers and development staff that have access to the reality of our experience.

Do your consultants work with Actors or on-screen personalities?

Some of our consultants have on-screen and on-stage experience as well as having worked with the most experienced drama coaches in the industry. We not only provide coaching services for actors, we strongly recommend our seminars for actors and aspiring actors who are portraying (or going to portray) a law enforcement, government, or military professional or the criminals/terrorists they work to apprehend. Our seminars are also heralded as extremely valuable personal experiences and sometimes (upon request/approval) include live ride along sessions with on-duty law enforcement professionals.
